PDRA’s New Video “The Reason” Highlights Dedication To Drag Racing

The PDRA is a grassroots organization with a big footprint that prides itself on giving racers an opportunity to do what they enjoy. The challenges that the PDRA and other organizations face when trying to put on an event are rarely seen, but that’s about to change. The PDRA has partnered with React104 to document what’s involved in putting on a national event when the weather conditions are challenging.

If you’ve followed the PDRA for the past few seasons you would understand the organization’s love/hate relationship with Mother Nature. The PDRA has experienced weather issues for 17 straight events that impacted the organization’s racing program. That level of weather interference makes it difficult to run a race, so the PDRA has become an unwilling expert in how to modify a racing program on the fly.

Tyler Crossnoe is one of the people who craft a response to the curveballs that the weather tosses at the PDRA. He doesn’t take that job lightly and wants to be sure racers have a good experience at PDRA events.

“The PDRA’s talented and hard-working staff is aligned with one goal: to present exciting events for its racers and fans. Facing those difficult situations head-on and summoning the internal resolve to emerge victorious at the end of the weekend is also the same goal our racers strive to achieve. Racers spend vast sums of money and expend countless hours of their personal time in the quest to be the one racer standing in the winner’s circle at the end of the weekend, hoisting the 660 Man trophy for every one of their peers to see.”

Crossnoe and the PDRA leadership have been looking for ways to electrify fans of the organization and to attract new fans to the PDRA. The high-quality videos that React104 has produced caught the eye of the PDRA and the decision was made to work with the company to create something that would grab people’s attention.

“Part of the goal of working with Corey Michalek of React104 is to engage our current fans and capture the attention of new motorsports fans by telling this story. It will resonate with anyone who has ever invested themselves in seeing a task or project through to completion. We look forward to hearing from our fans and are so excited to bring them this video,” Crossnoe says.
