Event Preview: Mid-West Drag Racing Series US 131 Nationals

The 2022 Mid-West Drag Racing Series US 131 Nationals on September 9-10 will be run in conjunction with one of the largest growing events at US 131 Motorsports Park in Martin, Michigan, the 18th Annual Honor Credit Union Funny Car Nationals.

With some of the most exciting heads-up drag racing classes on the schedule, including Pro Modified, Alcohol Funny Cars, Top Sportsman, and Top Dragster, the Midwest Drag Racing Series will also be joined by Nostalgia Nitro Funny Car races, BB/Funny Cars, the Great Lakes Stock Super Stock Association, The “King of Quake” Kenworth Jet Truck driven by Bob Motz, Larsen Motorsports’ Jet Dragsters, Douthit Motorsports’ Jet Funny Cars, and more.

Two sessions of qualifying will take place for the MWDRS on Friday beginning at 6:00 p.m., with a 10:00 a.m. start on Saturday to wrap up the third session. Eliminations are scheduled to begin that afternoon, and spectators will enjoy the two action-packed days of excitement.
