The John Force Racing (JFR) drivers are ready to make a statement at the NHRA Cornwell Quality Tools U.S. Nationals at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park. Austin Prock can officially claim the Funny Car regular season points title at the U.S. Nationals. Brittany Force and Jack Beckman both want to use “The Big GO” as a jumping-off point for a Countdown to the Championship title run in Top Fuel and Funny Car.
Brittany Force Looking For First U.S. Nationals Win
If there’s one victory that Brittany would love to add to her resume, it’s a U.S. Nationals title. Force has been runner-up twice at Indy and has been the number one qualifier four times. While those are impressive stats, they aren’t the win that every driver craves at Indy.
The JFR Top Fuel dragster has been humming along and has been putting up some solid performances in 2025. These great outings have given Force plenty of confidence and give the team momentum heading into the countdown.
“I definitely feel this team has turned a corner at the right time. Our performance has been inching closer to the winner’s circle and last weekend in Brainerd was proof of that. Indy is a great chance to move up in points before the Countdown begins. Indy will be big for us as we need to lock into the countdown, and the added points come into play. We need to have a strong finish in Indy to get us ready for the final six races,” Force says.
Autin Prock Feels The Indy Momentum
In 2025, Prock blistered the Funny Car class with six wins. Going into the U.S. Nationals, Prock has a 242-point lead on the Funny Car field and a stranglehold on the regular season points title. On top of all that, Prock is also the defending event winner and is ready to add another Indy win to his sprawling resume.
While there is added pressure at the U.S. Nationals, Prock feels like he can focus on the task at hand this year like he did during his rookie season in Funny Car. The goal for Prock is simple: keep the momentum going and finish the weekend strong.
“You know, I feel like we have some good momentum and, hopefully, we can go in there and win some more cash. There’s a lot of money on the line this weekend, with the regular season championship, the Mission Foods #2Fast2Tasty NHRA Challenge, and the Funny Car Call-Out. Then throw in competing in the U.S. Nationals on top of that so I’m excited for the big weekend,” Prock explains.
Jack Beckman Enjoys The Extra Racing At Indy
Fast Jack already has two U.S. Nationals titles to his name, along with four all-star wins at Indy. Right now, the regular season title is out of reach due to his teammate Austin Prock’s dominance. That doesn’t mean that Beckman is going to take the weekend off, in fact, he’s ready to do a lot of racing.
“Indy is the only race now with this Mission Foods #2Fast2Tasty NHRA Challenge where somebody could literally triple up on a scheduled weekend. We’ve got a Saturday race within a race with Mission deal. We’ve got a Sunday race with a race with this All-Star Funny Car Call-out. And then we’ve got U.S. Nationals eliminations. In 2015, I doubled up at Indy, winning the shootout on Sunday and it was a huge deal. That’s a really big deal to stand there with that huge trophy with your crew in the winner’s circle. But, unlike any other race when you win and go back to the hotel to get a night sleep, you get up early Monday morning and you’re back out there for an even bigger race. There’s no extra incentive needed for Indy,” Beckman says.
