The Red Line Shirt Club Joins Dragzine, Power Automedia Network

The Red Line Shirt Club, makers of some of the coolest authentic, vintage drag racing t-shirts around, has partnered with Dragzine and the Power Automedia network of online enthusiast magazines, joining some of the most elite manufacturers in the industry on the digital magazine that’s your 24/7 drag racing source.

If there’s one thing that automotive enthusiasts and racers have in common besides their love for horsepower and speed, it’s the collective fashion sense that revolves around racing and car-related t-shirts, and for drag racing fans young and old, there hasn’t been a selection of shirts on the market as nifty as those you can purchase today in half a century. Why is that, you ask? Because these very shirts are modern recreations of apparel you might have purchased decades ago at famous tracks like Fontana Drag City and the Lions Drag Strip or from racers the likes of Bruce Larson and Smith & Ewald.

The Red Line Shirt Club isn’t your ordinary vintage t-shirt maker, however, as their unique members-only club delivers some of the coolest, highest quality, vintage-designed t-shirts out there to the doors of its members each and every month. Each of Red Line’s classically styled shirt designs features some of the greatest drag racing legends and historic strips of all-time, with old school nitro drivers, professional match racers, and famous weekend warriors, along with some of iconic “ghost tracks” that put drag racing on the map adorning these exclusive shirts.

Shown here is just a pair of the many unique t-shirt designs that the Red Line Shirt Club has created for their members. On the left is the legendary Bruce Larson's USA-1 Funny Car shirt. Larson's line of USA-1 floppers dates back to 1966, and throughout the decades, Larson drove some of the most competitive nitro-burning Funny Cars in the sport. Larson ultimately reached the pinnacle of the sport in 1989, when he scored the NHRA Funny Car world championship. Another of their shirts, shown on the right, is one of the early designs from the Fontana Drag City, which operated from 1955 until 1972 in Fontana, Calif., not far from Los Angeles. One of the most famous strips in the country, Fontana played host to some of the biggest names in the sport, including the future drag racing legends that hailed from the Southern California region.

Members of the Red Line Shirt Club receive an authentic t-shirt representing drag racing’s storied past each month, and best of all, there’s a new design featured each and every month. Once the shirt has been shipped to its members, the design is retired forever.

The staff at Red Line picks the new design each month, selecting racers, tracks, and car builders from their extensive travels across the country and the many submissions that their members and would-be members have sent in. As a new shirt arrives each month, with it will come some unique information about the driver, the track, or any other interesting and notable facts that the Red Line staff has learned about that month’s shirt design.

The cost of the club membership is just $22 a month, and that includes free shipping to anywhere in the world. There is no commitment when joining the Red Line Shirt Club, and your monthly membership can be cancelled or your shirt size changed at any time. It’s that easy.

Whether you just want a few shirts or a whole closet full of vintage drag racing shirts to fill out your weekly wardrobe, the Red Line Shirt club is the only place to get these exclusive shirt designs from drag racing’s past, and you’re sure to get some looks with the classically styled designs.
