Moroso Performance Products has joined forces with Promedia’s event series for the 2013 drag racing season and will serve as an official sponsor of the NMCA and NMCA West street car drag racing series, it was announced this week. Moroso joins a laundry list of official series sponsor comprising a whos-who roster of official sponsors of the two series, and will continue to award contingency payouts to competitors in the heads-up and index categories that win or runner-up while running Moroso oil pans and displaying the Moroso decal on their vehicles.

Beyond simply a sponsor, Moroso has a rich history and interest in the street legal drag racing ranks, as Rick Moroso once competed in the naturally aspirated Pro Stock and Hot Street ranks of the NMCA and now defunct NSCA. The company’s founder, Dick Moroso, was also a highly successful racer in the modified production racing classes.

Moroso Performance Products boasts more than 4,000 products in its catalog, from their renowned oil systems and components to valve covers, ignition components, electronics, tools, and virtually anything one could need for their race car or high performance street vehicle.
