Pro Torque’s success has come through the struggle of hard work, dedication to providing a high-quality product, and lots and lots of research. It’s a company with humble roots; Joe Rivera’s father, Joe Sr., or “Mr. Joe”, started in the business as a rebuilder of torque converters for the local Long Island transmission shops, and spent his downtime developing torque converters for his own projects – that’s how their high-performance division was born.

Pro Torque’s line of converters are not just drag-racing-oriented, however. They offer six different products from the Revolution Series drag racing converters to their Street Muscle and Pro Diesel converters. 

For example, The Pro Diesel series feature billet front covers for strength along with upgraded carbon-ceramic clutch materials designed to withstand the huge horsepower and insane torque today’s modified soot-blastin’ diesels are capable of putting down. 

Each converter design is optimized for its particular application, drawing upon Pro Torque’s massive computer library of customer combinations and torque converter specifications.
