Our friends over at DMC Racing are always cooking up new parts; proprietor Dennis MacPherson has had his hands in many of the world’s quickest cars over the years. From Manny Buginga’s NMRA Super Street Outlaw champion car to Alex Vrettos’ Shakedown and Yellowbullet Nationals-conquering machine, MacPherson and his team have figured out what it takes to go fast on a small tire.
Recently they designed a new product for those of you running a small-block Ford and camshaft belt-drive — this nifty water crossover replacement.
Gone are the days of spending $250-plus on a bunch of fittings, y-blocks, and hoses to manage the cooling on the front of your engine; now you can just install one of these crossovers and do away with the potential for leaks and marked-up fittings that can occur when you have to cobble all of this together. No more tubes of silicone will be required, as the crossover incorporates o-ring sealing on all surfaces and can be fed from either the top or side.
MacPherson told us that the team is also working on water crossovers for many popular combinations, so those of you with small- and big-block Chevrolets and big-block Ford engines will also be able to benefit from their expertise. The introductory price of $189.99 will get you a crossover in either black or silver, with or without the DMC logo machined into the face. Just specify which one you’re interested in when calling to order one. He also stressed that they have a lot of new products in the works including a complete Mustang rear-suspension line, so check out their website for the latest in drag-racing goodness.
