Maintaining original wiring length on Pyrometers, also known as Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) gauges, is critical for optimum performance. Deviation from, or alteration to the thermocouple (sensor) wiring or connectors for these gauges can have a dramatic impact on instrument performance. This issue has previously limited mounting flexibility on a variety of vehicles.

Auto Meter is proud to introduce the Incandescent Pyrometer Extension Module. Developed specifically to aid gauge installations requiring maximum thermocouple wiring length. An ideal accessory for applications such as overhead mounts, dragsters, buggies, most mid or rear engined vehicles, diesel motorhomes and more. Adding a Pyrometer Extension Module to any Auto Meter incandescent backlit Pyrometer installation allows for a safe increase in thermocouple wiring length from 10ft. to a maximum of 75ft. without loss of accuracy or response on your gauge!
