One of the best things about the internet is the infinite access to all things racing, and for creative people to bring racing to the masses. With a high quality hand held camcorder, a GoPro, and editing software a person can make racing videos that should be on network television or even on the big screen. YouTube has pushed this even further by making racing videos available to the masses 24/7. 

Les Mayhew and his NitroAmerica YouTube racing channel is stuffed to the gills with kick ass drag racing action.  We have featured some of his videos before, but Les’s dedication to putting out amazing videos shows the deeper you look. If you really like nostalgia drag racing this channel is your one clip stop for hours of fun.

 In this new video Les shows you a bit more of what it takes to make a killer video. There’s some great travel footage that includes multiple tracks, and shows how much road the NitroAmerica team travels. You get to see lots of non-racing footage that sets the tone of a race day and the excitement it brings. Some of the onboard shots that get used are at angles you don’t get to see on most videos. There is some great camera work in the pits that makes you feel like you are right there during a nitro car warm up. Of course it would not be a NitroAmerica video without some classic Steve Evans or classic radio spots to give it that old school feel.
