Way back in 1962, Gary Hooker wanted more power from his Chevy 409, so he designed a set of headers for himself. Racers saw them and decided they wanted a set of their own. That need from the local racers snowballed into the forming of Hooker Headers.

Over the years they went from making headers for race cars, to headers for street cars and for engine swaps. They still do all of these things, claiming to be the winningest headers in NHRA history, and also making headers for modern swaps such as putting a Chevrolet LS1 V-8 into a Nissan s13 (240SX) chassis. They have been well known over the years because of their great products, and also because of their infamous t-shirts that proudly display “I love my HOOKER headers.”

Through Facebook, they will be sharing new product information, plus sharing some helpful tips regarding exhausts and headers to help educate their following.
