Pro Modified race cars are the quickest and fastest full-bodied vehicles in the sport, and likewise are some of the most advanced pieces of machinery you’ll find. If you’re going to jump in and try to be competitive you better have a killer hot rod, and the folks at DMC Racing can certainly make that happen. The crew at DMC has taken on a new turnkey ford Mustang Pro Mod project for a customer that could very well turn some heads in 2015.
Dennis MacPherson and his team at DMC Racing have been churning out top-shelf race cars from their shop in Massachusetts since 1997. The customer’s cars from DMC have won championships, been top players in the radial tire classes across the country, and been at the peak of Outlaw 10.5 racing on the east coast.
Tom and Tommy Jones approached MacPherson about doing a cutting edge turnkey Pro Mod with all the best go fast trimmings. A rolling chassis from David Monday Race Cars wearing a spectacular fastback Mustang body was delivered to DMC for all the final touches. Powering the pony Pro Mod will be a billet Brad 8 Hemi that Jones supplied to the shop. To get the new powerplant to fit properly DMC will be making some modifications to the chassis. Who knows what other surprises the guys at DMC will have for us on this car, but based on the start we’re guessing that this car will be filled with nothing but the best parts out there.
