New and improved is something you love to hear in drag racing. The NHRA Competitor’s website was just released to bring together NHRA’s competition, tech information, schedules and updates all together in one newly developed website. Just in case you didn’t know, the new and improved NHRARacer.com is replacing the current information site on NHRA.com, and became mobile.

“With NHRARacer.com, all NHRA competitors will be able to access an exclusive website that is dedicated to servicing their needs and it will make it much easier for us to communicate directly with our competitors,” said Josh Peterson, NHRA Vice President of Racing Administration.  “NHRARacer.com will have links that will allow our competitors to register for national events, check race schedules, view competition notices, get rules updates, and download the NHRA Rulebook.  The site will also allow competitors to access and navigate it with ease via their mobile devices.”

What’s amazing is that not only can the top NHRA competitors access the site, but any membership status will be able to share these updates and informational links.  We all know how difficult it was to find those rules for that particular class you wanted to run in. Among the information accessible on the new Competitor Information site is information on national event credentials, event notices, hours and location of credential trailer and Sportsman waiver trailer, downloadable competition applications, and a list of contacts for national event registration and divisional offices.

The Competition Link will show you not only National Event notices, but also provide information on how to apply for a competition number and even give you altitude correction factors for the race tracks.

The Rulebook will be posted in the Tech Department Section but information on engine blueprint specifications and stock car classifications is posted.

The Contingency section will have all the sponsor information and requirements but also the Full Throttle Series Event Contingency Posting.

All of these links have been improved so that three sections will be identified with a logo on the left side of the page to help the users navigate, and the Racer Marketplace will be located below the Latest Updates at the bottom of the site. Easy enough right?  The NHRA will also have advertisements for NHRA member track events, a racers directory and a classified ads section which list the links and company information for all the products for NHRA competitors.
