With as many Instagram followers as he has, if you’re into Mustangs, and you have an IG account, you’ve probably heard of Jeff Scofield, if not already follow him. There aren’t too many bolts that haven’t been turned on Scofield’s Shelby, as little remains factory on the car. The car’s sheetmetal is probably the only aspect of the car that hasn’t radically changed.

In street trim, the car’s Aerospace Components’ Pro Street brakes are in plain view behind Rovos Outlaw wheels.
When it came to the car’s brakes, he wanted to change out the factory Brembos to open up the car’s wheel choices. Plus, at that time he was more concerned with the car’s quarter-mile performance, and with trap speeds around 150 mph, he still needed a brake package capable of hauling down the 2-ton beast.
Looking at all of his options, he chose Aerospace Components’ Pro Street brakes for his Shelby. Aerospace’s Pro Street front kit uses billet aluminum 4-piston calipers, rotors, and hats. Hawk Performance brake pads are part of the kit, which utilizes the factory sealed bearing hub assembly and ABS sensors. The Pro Street kit includes drilled, slotted, and nickel-plated rotors. Everything is held together using Grade 8 hardware.
The rear Pro Street brake kit is very similar to the front kit, and is available for either 1/2-inch or 5/8-inch studs, stock C-clip or C-clip Eliminator 8.8s, and ABS and non-ABS equipped cars.
“Not only are Aerospace brakes awesome looking and draw attention at ever show, they stop this 4200lbs beast at the track at 150 mph plus,” Scofield says.

If you see Scofield’s GT500 at a show, it’ll be on the ground thanks to its Airlift Performance airbag suspension.
