While scurrying around the 2021 PRI show in Indianapolis, we stopped in to see our friends over at Vortech Superchargers. Knowing that new products are the highlight of these trade shows we wanted to see what that was for them. We talked with Vortech’s Jose Flores about their new LS bracket for their big V30 blower.

The LS scene is obviously as popular as ever as now with the support from Vortech, depending on your engine size you have capabilities of between 1,450 and 2,800-horsepower. “Our new LS bracket is designed to work with the LS platform and our big V30 gearcase blower. With a 50-MM cog belt, there are three different power packages; 94, 112, and a 123-MM,” Flores said. “The 94A will do about 1,450-horsepower, the 112 will do about 1,800-horsepower, and the 123 will do about 2,800-horsepower. These are a basic, simple, option for these engines and don’t require a ton of extra mods with the exception of the water pump.”

You will need to plumb in an external water pump as this unit is designed to fit on the passenger side head of the engine. If you’re wondering about clearance space in your ride, know that from the front of the engine forward you’re looking at just over 20-inches of product hanging out.
