JRi Shocks, manufacturer of high performance shock absorbers announced the promotion of Marty Flannery. Flannery will assume the role of Open Wheel and Sports Car Market Manager.
Flannery worked in the Open Wheel Industry for 10 years prior to joining JRi Shocks in 2014. At JRi Shocks, his roles have included Shock Technician and the Technical Specialist in JRi’s CSR Department. “I am excited to step into this new role and committed to increasing JRi’s presence in the Open Wheel Industry,” exclaimed Flannery.

Today JRi is known for being on the cutting edge of technological advancements in the shock and suspension industry. JRi offers shock systems for all vehicle platforms, including but not limited to drag racing, motorcycle, off-road, road racing, short track racing, stock car racing, street performance, OEM needs, other transportation platforms such as planes, boats and trains, bio-mechanical/cyborg devices as well as numerous applications within the defense/military sector.

JRi plans to supply shocks to the Cantrell/Vector Space Porsche 944 Team for the 2016 25 Hours of Thunderhill with TURNology Senior Contributor, Tom Stahler as one of the team drivers. Stahler will provide feedback to the readers as to the performance of the shocks in the legendary endurance race.
