SEMA 2019: ISKY Racing Cams Introduces EZ-Roll Helix

If you’re running roller lifters in your engine, you fully understand the principles of a roller releasing horsepower usually swallowed-up by a flat-tappet unit. Roller lifters are a significant upgrade to the traditional flat tappet, but during a lifter failure, all those needles scatter throughout your engine. The resulting catastrophic ingestion of small bearing rollers is well-documented in video and magazines. But what if we told you that could be a thing of the past?

ISKY Racing Cams’ EZ-Roll Helix lifter has a needle-free bushing made of a proprietary solid bearing that can carry a greater load and has more surface area for load distribution. A design feature we’re sure you’ll like is NRG-Spin. This anti-friction, “rotational-assist” technology forms a protective barrier, forming a shield to guard against dry startup.

ISKY Racing Cams’ EZ-Roll Helix is a bushing made of a proprietary solid bearing that can carry a greater load and has more surface area for load distribution than traditional needle bearings.

You’ve likely never heard of Directed NanoLube Architecture, but the Helix has it, and we’ll give an explanation. Nanolube means there are scientifically formed acoustic-wave channels in the bushing, and these channels direct oil to keep the bearing/bushing covered in oil. This means the ISKY Helix design directs oil to where it’s needed most. This provides advanced protection under extreme-performance conditions that would typically destroy other lifters in short order.

The EZ-Roll Helix delivers superb protection, unparalleled low-speed reliability, and we’re told it can last up to five times longer than traditional roller lifters.

ISKY Cams’ EZ-Roll Helix lifters are available for most popular applications in standard and lightweight versions. There are even some available with a pushrod-seat offset.
