Jason Enos ran Outlaw 10.5 last September at No Mercy III and qualified second with a 4.23 at 187 MPH. He will need similar performance at least to be in the hunt in Radial vs. the World this weekend.
Things are shaping up for a stellar event this week at the South Georgia Motorsports Park for Lights Out IV – Unfinished Business. There have been various rumors about some top name Outlaw 10.5 racers heading to play in the radial sandbox this year and at least one top player is confirmed to be coming for the record and the $10,000 winners purse, as Outlaw 10.5 ace Jason Enos has bolted a set of 315 radials on his drop-dead gorgeous, twin-turbo Mustang.
The quickest run to date on a radial was recorded last year by Steve Jackson while testing at Holly Springs with a 4.19. Several other racers have run low 4.20’s with every combination having a player at the table. On average, Outlaw 10.5 is about a tenth ahead of the top radial cars, with Enos’ best run being a 4.11 at 191 mph.

Jason and crew have been at Proline Racing the past week finishing up the prep for the 2013 season. The Proline Racing 670 has been freshened and will send power back to a new TH 400 two-speed transmission from Mark Micke. Boost is provided by a pair of Precision 94mm turbos. Lots of eyes will be on Enos and the Victory Racecraft team this week to see how quickly they can get their program running well on the radial tire. Jamie Miller, Billy Gilsbach, Tim Baptista and Dave DeMarco are some of the guys that will be on hand with DeMarco also bringing his OL 10.5 Buick Grand National.
