Breaking News: SCT Acquires Bully Dog For Combined Calibration Needs

For the last 10 years, SCT Holdings has offered innovative engine and transmission calibration products for light-duty trucks and automobiles. But in a merger with Bully Dog Technologies, an industry leader in full-vehicle calibration products for light-duty, powersport and heavy-duty applications, SCT is expanding even further into the heavy-duty truck, SUV and off-road vehicle markets. What more could you ask for in your tuning choices than two top companies coming together to bring the industry the latest calibration technology for a wider range of vehicles?

“There are many synergies between both companies, and our combined performance and fleet customers will see the direct benefits: more products for more vehicles with more features sold in more places in the months to come,” Rick Trudo, CEO of SCT, said in a recent press release. “With Bully Dog’s vast vehicle coverage, we can offer our customers calibration solutions for even more vehicle applications.”

With each company offering industry-leading tuning products to different markets, their merger will give the resulting company a better product line for a wider range of vehicles, including many heavy-duty trucks and SUVs used in the off-road performance community. Not only does this mean more tuning options, it also means the very best in cutting-edge technology.

“SCT’s calibrations and custom tuning software are second to none,” Bully Dog’s COO, Daryl Klassen stated in the press release. “Merging with SCT will allow us to take advantage of these strengths and take our products to the next level.”

Over the coming months, both companies plan to have a comprehensive integration of their employees, suppliers and customers. Following that, new products will be released, continuing through the end of the year.
