Engine Enthusiasts Rejoice — Engine Performance Expo Announced

It’s no secret that 2020 has been hell on the automotive performance season. With so many events being canceled or postponed, it’s great to not only see a new one come to life but one open to the general public, even if virtually.

Recently, the Engine Performance Expo was publicly announced. Scheduled for January 7-9, 2021, the three-day online event will feature live lectures, question-and-answer sessions, and educational seminars with the performance engine industry’s top parts manufacturers and engine builders. Supported by companies like AERA, Dart, Diamond Pistons, Rottler, and Total Seal, this event will be packed full of information well worth your time.

“My favorite part of PRI was AETC. The information gathered and connections made were invaluable,” says  Total Seal‘s Lake Speed, Jr. “The Engine Performance Expo utilizes technology to bridge the “knowledge gap” left behind this year, to come together to share products and processes in a way we’ve never done before. Being able to watch a block be set up and bushed for keyway lifters is something you could not do at AETC. This 3-day event provides unparalleled access to the best people, products, and processes in the industry, and you don’t have to go anywhere or pay anything to do it!”

The Engine Performance Expo is a free event open to all enthusiasts, with the only requirement being that you preregister via the Expo’s website registration HERE. The Expo’s current schedule is below and will be updated as required (check back HERE for the latest version) with the final schedule of events and guest speakers to be published in early December. “From speakers like Billy Godbold to Darin Morgan and companies like Dart and Comp Cams, the leaders in the performance engine building industry are coming together to provide this one-of-a-kind educational platform,” Speed elaborates.

The current (as of 10/20/20) list of presenters includes:

Ben Strader – EFI University
Billy Godbold – COMP Cams
Chuck Lynch – AERA Engine Rebuilder’s Association
Don MacAskill – Shaver Specialties Racing Engines
