Event Preview: The Magic 8 At Orlando Speed World Dragway

Duck X Productions is bringing the radial tire madness back to Orlando Speed World Dragway with the “Magic 8”. This event will feature the best Radial vs The World, Pro 275, and X275 racers in the country the weekend of July 23-25. All of the action can be seen live RIGHT HERE on SpeedVideo when the “Magic 8” begins.

The COVID-8 was the last Duck X Productions event that took place at Orlando Speed World Dragway and it provided some monstrous performances in Radial vs The World and Pro 275. When the “Magic 8” comes to town it will have both of those classes, plus the always-exciting X275 eliminator on the dance card. Fans will see big names like Stevie Jackson, Manny Buginga, Eric Dillard, Dean Marinis, Ziff Hudson, Rob Goss, David Reese, and many others.

Donald Long, founder of Duck X Productions explains what the “Magic 8” is all about.

“The ‘Magic 8’ is about bringing the best of the best to an event so they can run in warm conditions and keep all of the combinations relatively even. This isn’t an enter-at-the-gate type of race — all entries are screened and then either approved or denied based on past performance. A maximum of 16 cars will be allowed in each class. We’re not looking for the most cars, we’re looking for the right cars. The “Magic 8” is really a big test session of the best cars, crews, and tuners in the business. You’re going to see them battle it out through six rounds of qualifying so we can find out where all the combinations really sit at performance-wise.”

Orlando Speed World Dragway is ready to host the “Magic 8” July 23-25. Spectators are welcome at this event and it’s going to be one you need to see in person if you can.
