Racetracks all across the country are facing legal issues as neighbors complain about the noise associated with racing.  Too many great old racetracks and dragstrips have met the demise after these neighbors bring legal suits against the them and eventually just shut down. Other tracks have found a compromise with neighbors and the law as they switch to muffler rules to bring the noise levels down. With these new mufflers racetracks can stay open and give racers a place to race.

A trusted name in muffler technology and real innovator in the field, Flowmaster, is launching a new product line to help racers and racetracks with muffler rules.  Flowmaster helped greatly in the early 1980′s as local race tracks in Northern California were becoming surrounded by their communities and began facing threats of closure due to the sound concerns brought by the encroaching populations.
