Looking for a great way to kick off the spring season? Look no further as Goodguys Rod & Custom Association will be holding their 7th annual Spring Nationals car show at WestWorld in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Our last coverage involves the finale of last season, the 18th Southwest Nationals, which brought out some sweet rides and delicious food. Goodguys looks to follow up last year’s success by bringing out the beautiful cars and trucks that are at times hidden from plain sight.
Whether you’re a fan of a custom that’s daily driven or a build that never sees the odometer advance, there is something for everyone at each Goodguys car show. Set to be held from March 4-6, 2016, the show is set to feature over 2,500 rods, customs, classics, muscle cars and trucks through 1972.
Complete with the popular autocross, swap meet, and car sale corral, there is plenty to see and do. There will also be a Kids Zone, which offers free arts and crafts, games, and prizes to keep the young ones happy.
JG & The Modrockers and The Lounge Kats will be in attendance, providing live music entertainment for the car show. The Tucson Street Rod Association will also be at the show, who began their legacy as a car club back in 1971.
The doors will be open each day at 8:00 a.m., giving spectators and enthusiasts plenty of time to mingle and showcase their car. General admission is $17 and kids get in for $6. Vehicle registration for the event is available online at Goodguys, as well as rules and other events that will be taking place over the course of the event’s three day duration.
Will you be there? If so, let us know what you want to see. A great event for families and rod enthusiasts, every Goodguys event takes the camaraderie and universal respect of the custom automobile community no matter the location.
