The sport of drag racing suffered an immeasurable tragedy in June when one of its greatest stars, second-generation racer Lizzy Musi, lost her brave and hard-fought battle with cancer at the young age of 33. While her talent and infectious personality is irreplaceable, her father Pat Musi intends for her legacy to live on through the race cars that she drove to victories in the final years of her driving career in the Street Outlaws No Prep Kings series.

Lizzy’s original “Bonnie” 1969 Camaro, built by chassis builder Robert Hayes, was debuted in 2021 and powered her to three wins in the highly competitive series, including back-to-back victories late that season. Now, Pat is offering that car up for auction — as a roller but complete with all of the best-of-the-best parts and pieces — and an opportunity for someone to own a part of history.

Lizzy’s follow-up “Bonnie 2.0” — a near carbon-copy Robert Hayes ’69 Camaro that she drove to her final win at Tulsa in 2023, has already found a new home in Tommy Franklin’s (a longtime Musi nitrous engine partner) camp, with Blake Denton set to race the steel roof and quarter and VIN tag-equipped machine in the PDRA Pro Street ranks in her memory.
