Gen 3 and Gen 4 LS owners, rejoice! What’s better than a new product announcement?… How about 14? Melling Performance, a leading manufacturer of high-performance engine components, has recently released a lineup of 14 new camshafts – all designed specifically for the GM LS engine. Among the 14 new releases, Melling offers six camshafts specifically for truck engines – an ideal choice for those looking for improved performance and easier towing in their LS-powered pickup.

Four of the new camshafts have been fine-tuned to maximize horsepower and torque in engines featuring Cathedral port cylinder heads, including the ever-popular LS1 and Ls2. The remaining four were designed for Rectangular port engines (most commonly, the LS3). The race-style Class 4 and 5 offerings for the LS1, LS2, and LS3 offer the lineup’s most “usable,” mid-range power and torque.

Please note that all Melling camshafts are for use with a manual transmission or an automatic transmission with a high-stall speed converter. Engine Control Module upgrades and/or tuning are necessary with these new camshafts.
