Holley Releases New Hi-Ram EFI Intakes for Small-Block Chevy Engines

Fueling specialist, Holley has just announced a new line of high-performance intake manifolds aimed at giving classic small-block Chevy engines a modern boost. These new Hi-Ram EFI intakes are a major upgrade for enthusiasts who desire increased performance without the expense of custom fabrication.

The new intakes come in two different forms. The first has a front-feed design with a 95 mm throttle body and fits into the stock hoods of first, second, and third-generation Camaros and Firebirds. This is a stealthy performance upgrade that doesn’t change the look of the vehicle. The second version uses a conventional Hi-Ram design with a 105 mm throttle body. This is used when maximum power and airflow are of the highest importance, which is for most high-performance builds where hood clearance is not an issue.

The front-fed Hi-Ram (left) is designed to fit under the hood of first-, second-, and third-generation Camaros and Firebirds. The "full-send" Hi-Ram (right) boosts performance with a larger throttle body and a more direct path to each intake port.

Both versions share several key features designed to optimize performance and ease of installation. They’re compatible with a range of popular LS-style throttle bodies and sensors, which helps simplify the integration process. The intakes also feature provisions for nitrous systems and forced induction setups, offering flexibility for future upgrades.

The engineers at Holley designed these intakes to support small-block Chevy engines with displacements from 265 to 400 cubic-inches. The intake runners are optimized for high RPM operation, allowing engines to rev up to 8,500 rpm. That makes them suitable for applications from street performance to dedicated racing.

The cast aluminum construction and sleek design give a modern look to any small-block-equipped engine bays. To further support this new product line, Holley offers a complete ecosystem of complementary components encompassing fuel pumps, filters, regulators, and tanks, all specifically designed for EFI conversions. With Holley’s new products, upgrading a small-block Chevy to modern fuel injection technology is quite simple.
