ProCharger Launches New F-1X Supercharger Specifically For X275

There’s arguably no category in all of drag racing gaining more attention these days than X275, which has ravaged its way up and down the East coast and slowly begun infiltrating other parts of the nation over the last year. These explosion of interest has even spread to manufacturers such as ProCharger, who are developing products aimed directly at the growing contingent of X275 racers.

ProCharger customers have been among the dominant forces in the first two seasons of X275, and thus it comes as no surprise that the supercharger manufacturer has a square focus on what’s become a booming market segment all it’s own.

Although already well-documented in the racing community, ProCharger last week officially unveiled their new F-1X supercharger, which has been specifically designed and developed for the competitive X275 category. This newly released blower follows ProCharger’s recent complete redesign of the F-3 series and the launch of the all-new ProCharger RaceDrive gear drive unit.

The new F-1X supercharger shares many of the same design strategies and high efficiency of the new F-3 series blowers, capable of producing airflow numbers topping 2,000 cfm and boost numbers up to 38 psi. Below are the specifications of the new F-1X which we’ll no doubt see race wins and record performances from at races all over the country this season.

  • Base HP Range of NA Engine: 375-550 HP
  • Maximum Supercharged HP Rating: 1,300 HP
  • Maximum Airflow: 2,000 cfm
  • Maximum Boost: 38 psi
  • Volute diameter: 10.5”
  • Inlet Diameter: 5 inches
  • Outlet Diameter: 3.5 inches
