As the result of a partnership agreement between the National Muscle Car Association (NMCA) and Real Deal Steel, all 2016 Chevrolet Performance Challenge Series class racers, who finish the season in the top-10 of their respective class, will be eligible to win a custom-built “rolling” ’69 Camaro RS/SS. There are five classes that qualify, and each eligible racer has a 1 in 50 chance to take home the Camaro. This is a roller, which means the hard work is done. All you have to do is finish the car any way you like.

The body is from Real Deal Steel, and is assembled with sheet metal from Auto Metal Direct, and then prepped by All Bare Media Blasting.  The Camaro roller features products from some of the leading performance manufacturers in the U.S.  Chris Alston’s Chassisworks supplied the front subframe, while the shortened rearend was handled by Moser Engineering.  Mickey Thompson tires provide the traction, and a great-looking set of Weld wheels lend exposure to the Wilwood brakes. An ididit steering column is topped with an AutoPro USA/Volante custom steering wheel. Finally, Scoggin-Dickey supplied a Chevrolet Performance Connect and Cruise LS3 crate engine with 480 horsepower. The engine is an LS3 mounted to a Super Magnum T56 six-speed manual transmission. Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center is the official host Chevrolet Performance dealer at each series event in 2016.
