Sheid Diesel

After a few years of sitting, it was only a matter of time before this dragster came out to show its true potential. This car has the perfect combination of support and knowledge to make it go, and go it did. Really, really fast.

1. Michael Cordova’s Record-Setting Run: The weekend kicked off with a historic moment as Michael Cordova blazed down the track in his Cummins-powered dragster. Cordova not only secured a win in the AMSOIL Pro Dragster class, but he also etched his name in the record books with the first-ever three-second (in ODSS event) eighth-mile pass – an astonishing 3.978 seconds at a blistering 189.84 miles per hour.

2. Austin Doidge’s Triumph: Austin Doidge, a formidable no-prep racer, added another feather to his cap by clinching a victory in the SunCoast Transmission’s Pro Mod class after months of hard work and preparation. In a heart-pounding showdown against Larson Miller and the Firepunk Diesel-backed Duster, Doidge’s consistency propelled him to the top of the podium with the Duster still in the middle of the learning curve.

3. Justin Zeigler’s Unstoppable Streak: Justin Zeigler continued his reign of dominance in the Hot Shot’s Secret Pro Street class. His relentless pursuit of excellence culminated in yet another victory, solidifying his truck’s reputation as a true badass on the dragstrip.

4. Mark Rojee’s Back-to-Back Glory: Mark Rojee showcased his consistency and skill by securing back-to-back wins in the Firepunk Diesel Outlaw 5.90 class. After his triumph at the Rocky Top Diesel Shootout, Rojee once again proved that he’s a force to be reckoned with on the track, besting Will Cunningham in battle.

5. Landon Miller’s Precision Performance: Landon Miller demonstrated what it takes to win in the Thoroughbred Diesel 6.70-Index class At the Scheid Diesel event, emerging victorious over Michael Lively. Miller’s flawless execution earned him a well-deserved spot in the winner’s circle and set him up for an end-of-season points-championship run.

6. Dustin Mintern’s Winning Streak: Dustin Mintern’s winning streak continued as he claimed victory in the South Bend Clutch 7.70-Index class. With back-to-back wins under his belt, Mintern showcased his consistency and skill, leaving his competitors wondering what happened. Mintern is solidly in second place in the points chase and will need a miracle to finish the year with the points lead, but anything can happen.
