Getting a front suspension set up right can save you a lot of headaches when you’re working on dialing in the amount of traction you need. Strange Engineering has a great spindle mount aluminum strut package that comes with everything you need to finish your front suspension build and provide you with plenty of suspension tuning options.
Using quality parts when you fabricate a strut front end will pay for itself between the time you save during the build and the results on the track. Strange designed this strut kit based around the idea that it would provide racers with the maximum amount of front suspension control they need. Each kit comes standard with independent adjustments that are external and cover both directions of movement. The entire package has been designed so it’s both compact to save space, and lightweight to keep weight off the frontend.
The double adjustable stud mount struts are made of forged 2014-T4 aluminum and feature stainless steel spindles. Each strut is valved for a drag racing application and can be ordered with custom valving too. Hyperco Springs that are made of chrome silicone steel and magnaflux inspected come with the kit and are available in different spring rates.
The lower control arm ends are made from 4130 steel and come with grade 8 bolts, flanged locking ESNA nuts, and 3AN washers. Included with the control arm ends is a control arm tubing kit that features 4130 seamless tubing, tubing adapters, and either 7/16” or ½” Teflon-lined chrome moly rod ends. The spindle mount brake kit that’s included comes with a set of slotted rotors made of forged steel, single 1 ¾” piston billet aluminum brake calipers, soft metallic brake pads, and all of the mounting hardware.
