Video: A Tour Of The Xceldyne Manufacturing Facility

Xceldyne Technologies (part of the CV Products family) has spent years perfecting the R&D and manufacturing process of high tolerance motorsports-grade valvetrain components, and has even set new industry standards along the way.

In the video above, Xceldyne’s team gives viewers an up close look at what an engineering and manufacturing facility should look like by touring their ISO9001 (International Organization for Standardization) and AS9100 (Society of Automotive Engineers, Aerospace) certified facility.

From concept drawing to CAD, FEA, CFD, prototyping and final product assembly; the company combines the latest and greatest equipment with engineers and machinists that have decades of experience in the valvetrain industry and motorsports, to produce products capable of handling the abuse of even the most aggressive professional-level race engines.

Xceldyne's team uses only the latest industrial CAD and precision measurement equipment.

Having skilled employees with first-hand experience across many branches of motorsports is how Xceldyne assures that its products will always be up to the task, and that its customer service team fully understands what the customers need. The company’s engineers utilize the latest optical and laser scanning systems, coordinate-measuring machines (CMMs), roundness gauging, concentricity, profilometer, surface finish, and hardness.

This level of commitment to quality is why you will find the company’s products being used in everything from the harsh abuse of Formula 1, IndyCar, GP2 and NASCAR, to road racers, NHRA drag racers and sprintcar engines.
