More than 500 racers from at least 10 different countries have converged on the Maryland International Raceway for the 21st running of the Import vs Domestic World Cup Finals, with 32-car fields on tap in seven different heads-up eliminators. Some of the world’s quickest and fastest import and domestic-powered vehicles will go head-to-head on the 1/4-mile, and not only will they be chasing bragging rights, but with the cool November air there to greet them, world records just might fall, as well.

Derek from Street Outlaws has his nitrous big block Camaro at the World Cup at Maryland International Raceway on display!

Kevin Fiscus has the Proline powered FKR Mustang here on the grounds at the World Cup. Fiscus is setting the tuneup for third round of qualifying and looks to improve on the 5.97 at 248 MPH!

Jerson Correra from Florida has his ATF Speed 96 Supra solidly in the field of Street Fighter with a 7.89 at 175 and looks to improve during qualifying today!

Harry “Buck” Jarvis a longtime racer in the Northeast in Outlaw 10.5 is here with his 2002 Camaro better known as the Raspberry Rocket ran a career best 3.97 to the 1/8th on his 6.01 pass. Look for the great possibility of 5’s from the Raspberry Rocket!

Smokin Joe Schroeder is out in his 69 Camaro. Smoking Joe for years has ran a blower setup but for now he has switched over to a twin turbo setup. Schroeder ran a 6.93 at 206 with minimal runs so be sure to keep an eye out for him to run quicker and quicker!

Carlos Sobrino running in All Motor with his New Jersey based Mustang laid down a 9.642 at the Maryland Internatiional Raceway World Cup!

Josue Echavarria in the 2000 Integra went for a wild ride on his third qualifier narrowly missing the wall but put down a bunch of fluid. Hopefully it’s nothing major and he can come out for the last qualifier later today.

Kevin Fiscus in the PLR FKR Mustang in the third qualifying session laid it down in Outlaw vs Extreme with a 250 MPH pass!

Ray Litz going up in x275 vs Hot Rod! Ray is qualified #6 with a 7.125 at 191 MPH through three rounds of qualifying.

Mark Carlyle had an insane 223 MPH pass in Radial vs Modified on his 6.54 pass. He currently sits #2 through three qualifying sessions.

Krazy Ed Foley in 2012 Mustang with a 632 Nitrous motor normally runs Top Sportsman brought his car out to give it a try in Outlaw vs Extreme and qualified with a 6.797 at 202! Foley has a very consistent car so be on the lookout for him to possibly upset in eliminations.

Rob Goss held onto the #1 qualifier with a 6.871 at 203 up until Rich Bruder took that away with a stour 6.86 at 199.

Carl Brunet took his 2011 GXP to the #1 qualifying position in Radial vs Modified. Brunet traveled all the way from Canada to compete with the best in Imports and Domestics!

Isaias Rojas on his last qualifying attempt in Outlaw vs Extreme took the #1 spot away from Kevin Fiscus with a 5.903 at 239. Sunday eliminations should be one to not miss!
