Wednesday Evening Radial vs the World Q1

Keith Haney debuted his new “Enigma” and put the entire Radial vs The World field on notice with his qualifying lap of 3.89 at 191 mph, the quickest pass in class history.

Steve Jackson punched The Shadow into the number two spot with a 3.91 at 192 mph pass during the first qualifying round. It appears Jackson’s ride is sporting a new blower and is really making some steam on each pass, including a massive power wheelstand during testing today.
Josh Klugger and Daniel Pharris had a blistering side-by-side race with nearly identical elapsed times. Klugger went a 3.934, while Pharris went a 3.936, but had a booming 210 mph on the pass.

Several racers including Shawn Ayers swung for the fences but went into some gnarly power wheelies at different points on the track. The SGMP crew put some serious teeth in the track for this first round of qualifying.
