Jamie Hancock landed tenth in Radial vs the World qualifying last night in the first full pass on the car since changing to a lock up converter. The swap required a trans member cross member relocation due to the longer set up. The team was very satisfied with the run and is looking for an .11 or .12 this morning.

Kyle Huttel’s team had some work to do last night after losing a piston in qualifying. It takes about 3-4 hours to pull one head and make the repairs Crew chief Billy Stocklin said they are “ready to go” this morning. He ran a 4.13 on Wednesday making him the quickest nitrous RVW car.
Nathon Stinson owns this 1974 Nova running X275. It turned a lot of heads on the track yesterday and features a Bennett Racing small block Chevy topped with Brodix heads and a cast Brodix intake. New this weekend is an air shifted 5 speed transmission, a change from his manual shifted 4 speed installed by Jeff and Larry Ensslin.
