We stopped by John Carinci's pits and spoke with tuner Jason Lee from PTP. Carinci had quite the backfire last night blowing the the intake manifold apart and a hole right through the hood in the process. Teardown found a folded over top ring in the engine but no serious damage. A new piston for that cylinder and new rings all around will have the engine fixed right up. A big thanks to Jeff Lutz for making the repairs to the intake.
