- Nick Yarber is here with a recently updated powerplant in his EZ Street Mustang, sporting a new aluminum block in the Pro Stock-style, 615-inch Ford that sports Ford Motorsports’ “C” cylinder heads and motivated by a two-stage nitrous setup. Yarber has run as quick as 4.87 on the 295 Radial tire.

- Several of the top teams in the Get Screened American Pro Mod Challenge are here as an exhibition portion of the show, as they gain valuable testing data while putting on a great show for the fans. Raymond Comisso’s team was making some wholesale adjustments to his R2B2 ’68 Camaro prior to this evenings qualifying session.
- Ken Rainwater and his sharp ’04 Mustang slid into the second rung on the qualifying ladder with a 4.672 at 172.10 MPH.
- Georgian Tony Johnson made it look easy, cranking out a great 4.513 at 170.79 MPH to lead Outlaw 10.5 after the opening round of qualifying.
- Fan favorite Melanie Troxel and crew continue to get a handle on their new ’68 Camaro. Melanie rattled the tires and lifted around 150-feet out and slowed to a 10.80 at 79 MPH.
- Mike Janis powered his Jancen 2010 Mustang to the best run of the opening round of qualifying and only five-second lap, a 5.98 at 239.48.
- Californian Danny Rowe managed to lay down a game 6.046 at 242.80 for the second quickest lap of the round.
- Like many of the competitors in the high-horsepower categories, Brad Personnet and his incredible twin turbocharged Camaro struggled to get a hold of the ORP surface, as he blew the tires and go out of shape before passing the 60-foot clocks.
- Atlanta winner Jimmy Martin was a little off his normally strong pace in the first session, slowing to a 5.835 at 134.70 MPH.
- Nick Yarber and crew have been making adjustments today getting their new engine combination lined out and put it together well enough to hold the second spot after one round with a 5.477 at 142.19.
- Veteran Bob Kurgan experienced troubles early on in his qualifying attempt, slowing to a 6.42 elapsed time.
- Kevin Scott and his beautiful 1965 Chevy II showed the Limited Street field hows it done, distancing himself by nearly half a second with a stellar 4.859 at 157.37 MPH to pace the field after one round.
- Jerry Gunter and his awesome twin Procharged ’69 Camaro struggled early in his lap, slowing to a 5.978 at a coasting 88 MPH that was good enough for the fourth spot.
- Roger Burgess was the only car in the class that made a productive lap with a 6.187 at 242.36 as everyone else struggled to get beyond the first couple of hundred feet under power.
- Like so many others, low qualifier Mike Janis rattled the tires hard out of the gate and had to abort the run after heading toward the centerline just beyond the 60′ mark.
- Early qualifying leader Matt Bell blew the tires off before passing the christmas tree in his attempt to grab back the top spot, slowing to a 6.70 at just 97 MPH.
- Yesterday’s qualifying leader Matt Bell stepped up from his 5.403 to a 5.245 at 145.31 MPH to hold down the second spot behind Henderson. In the opposite lane, Bob Kurgan got a little loose about 100′ out and had to lift, managing a 5.752 for the final position with one round remaining.
- Chad Henderson got his ’87 Buick out of the gate soft, but stormed from the outhouse to the penthouse, going to the top of the order with a 5.213 at 145.85.
- Dennis Bailey made a great, smooth 4.937 t 159.53 MPH to move up to the fourth position, just a tick behind the leaders.
- Mike Jones made his presence known with a stout 4.856 at 157.04 MPH that placed him second just behind Szabo.
- Keith Szabo struggled to get down the track during yesterdays opening session, but that wasn’t a position anyone figured he’d be in for long. Keith laid down a great 4.833 at 163.67 MPH to jump to the tightly-packed top of the leaderboard.

- Mike Kimmis stepped up from his off-pace 5.250 yesterday to the fourth spot with a stellar 4.703 at 167.82 MPH.
- Brian Hicks and opponent Mike Kimmis both struggled to get ahold of the starting line, hazing the tires all the way to the 330′ mark before lifting in unison to a 7.02 and 6.01, respectively.
- Tony Johnson, who led after the opening round of qualifying, stepped up in the final session, making a little move near half track but still nailing down a 4.462 at 170.97 for the second spot heading into eliminations.
- Rob Wells put together a great run to close out qualifying on a high note, running a 4.529 at 171.51 after a little sashay just past the christmas tree that was good enough for the third spot.
- Brian Harrell made a great pass in the second round of qualifying, going straight to the top of the order with a nice 4.410 at 177.67 MPH that gives him a full tenth of a second advantage on the field.
- Melanie Troxel made the best run of the round with a nice 6.111 at 242.63 MPH. Mike Knowles, meanwhile, was just a tick behind with a 6.223 at 236.88 MPH.
- Von Smith recorded a stout 1.001 60′ time in his Barwa Camaro, but it was just too much for the hot ORP surface, as he rattled the tires an slowed to a 14.34.
- Roger Burgess recorded a 1.008 short time and was charging hard, but made a hard move toward the wall around the 330′ mark that got everyones attention.
- Brad Personnett roasted the hides right at the hit in the second session, and sits a the bottom of the qualifying order with a 10.21.
- Mike Jones’ crew was busy getting the intercooler buttoned back up after they discovered a crack in the tank that required some welding.
- Ruben Tetsoshvi II and team make were busy changing spark plugs prior to eliminations.
- Low qualifier Brian Harrell’s team found a crack in the exhaust tube on his ’98 Mustang and are in the process of making the repairs before the first round.
- All three of Roger Burgess’ teams advanced to the semifinal round. Burgess himself came out on the winning end of a wild pedaling contest with Mike Knowles, his 6.84 just edging out Knowles’ 6.86.
- Melanie Troxel had the best run of the round with a 6.492 at 234.66 to defeat Brad Personett, who blew the tires off just past the starting line and slowed.
- Danny Rowe advanced to the final round with a great 6.148 pass alongside Melanie Troxel, who got dangerously close to the centerline and had to lift around 1000′, slowing to a 6.685.
- Raymond Commisso advanced with a struggling 7.017 at 222.84 MPH as opponent Mike Janis was force to lift after rattling the tires early.
- In a big upset, Ed Parker took down the much quicker Rob Wells with a 5.043 when Wells engine went silent in a trail of smoke before the 200′ mark.
- The higher-qualified Ken Raintwater blew the tires off before moving five feet and tried to collect it back up, but couldn’t catch Ed Parker and his 5.283 to advance to the next round, where he will face Rob Wells.
- Brian Hicks finally made a good hit in his Dodge Challenger, but it wasn’t near enough for Rob Wells’ 4.5717 at 173.05 MPH.
- In a battle of supercharged cars, Tony Jonson advanced to the semifinals with a nice and straight 4.692 at 152.26 MPH to defeat Curtis Rhodes trailing 5.060.
- When Brian Harrell and Danny Lowry lined up for their first round matchup, both drivers lit the pre-stage and stage lights and had the boost built up, but recieved a very delayed tree. Lowry lifted off the loud pedal, while Harrell stayed on the chip until the tree fell, powering through for the win. Race officials brought them back for a re-run, where the two staged an epic battle, with Harell again getting the win in a great 4.425 to 4.452 race.
- Matt Bell used a nice 5.351 at 145.16 MPH to dispose of Bob Kurgan, who struggled all weekend to get a handle on the race track and was forced to pedal his way to a 5.620 effort.
- Chad Henderson made the best run of the weekend on his first round single, running a 5.189 at 146.72 MPH to advance the semi’s, where he will face Nick Yarber, who downed Jimmy Martin, 5.29 to 5.71.
- Kevin Scott was dead late with a .263 reaction time, but had more than enough to run down Willard Kinzers’ 5.480 with his 5.032 lap.
- Keith Szabo took full advantage of his solo run, laying down the best run of the weekend with a 4.814 at 163.83 MPH. He will face Ruben Tetsoshvi II in the semifinals.
- Brian Harrell, who was the quickest car in the class all weekend, will be kicking himself all the way back to Mississippi, as his car lurched through the staging beams in the semifinals, handing the win to Ed Parker who nailed won his best run of the weekend at 4.804 at 157.67 MPH.
- Tony Johnson powered to a straight and true 4.447 at 172.32 MPH on his semifinal solo run.
- The Pro Modified final round under the lights was looking to be an epic battle between the remaining combatants, and it was exactly that, as Danny Rowe just edged out Roger Burgess in a great race to the stripe, 5.991 at 243.02 to a 6.046 at 243.02.
- Keith Szabo saved his best run for last as he put down a killer 4.779 at 164.85 MPH to overcome the great .005 to .092 holeshot by Kevin Scott’s and his trailing 4.935 at 153.89.
- In the EZ Street final, Matt Bell did just what he needed to do, stepping up with a stellar 5.149 at 145.42. Unfortunately for him, Chad Henderson, who has been the class of the field all day, did just the same, blasting out the best run of the weekend at 5.051 and 148.05 MPH for the win and the Wally.
