Outlaw 10.5 Coverage
The U.S. Street Nationals at the Bradenton Motorsports Park in central Florida has become one of the annual kickoff events of the drag racing season, as some of the quickest and fastest doorslammer racers in the world get out and stretch their legs for the first time after the grueling winter.
The weather this weekend has a great forecast for racing and there is sure to be plenty of action with insane jet Semis and a good field of Pro Mod’s already testing into the low 4 second zone today. It’s the last major, and certainly largest, doorslammer drag race of the year this weekend in Vegas for Street Car Super Nationals. From 46 Pro Street to 26 Outlaw 8.5 cars, the classes are packed. With cool, overcast weather look for some record breaking runs this weekend.
The Outlaw Drag Racing Championship returns to the Bradenton Motorsports Park in Florida this weekend, with Pro Modified and Open Outlaw headlining a class lineup that includes Outlaw 10.5, Outlaw 632, Limited Street/Outlaw Radial, X275, and 5.50, 6.50, and 7.50 Index.
Race Wrap: Shakedown Has Its Usual Crazy And Crazy-Good Excitement

The 10th annual Shakedown Nationals at Raceway Park in Englishtown, N.J. once again lived up the billing of the exciting, record-breaking affair that the racing world expected, and we bring you all the big happenings and news out of one of the biggest and baddest drag races in the world.
The Shakedown Nationals, the brainchild of David Hance of New York Motorsports and one of doorslammer drag racing’s preeminent events, returns to historic Raceway Park in Englishtown for the 10th year, and once again, some of the heaviest hitters in the sport are expected to to be on hand to battle it out.
J.R. Webb of St. Albans, West Va., Kenny Floyd of Charlotte and Howard Brewer of Bennett claimed individual titles Sunday before a car fire abruptly ended the 17th annual Holcomb Motorsports Outlaw Civil Wars drag race at Steve Earwood’s Rockingham Dragway.
It’s the race that everyone in the heads-up doorslammer world has been waiting for — Radial Revolution No Mercy III at the South Georgia Motorsports Park! Dragzine will be here all weekend long to bring you every record, every victory, every heartache, and all the wheelstands and carnage you can handle!
It’s that time of year again, doorslammer fans, as the most raucous drag racing message board on the internet collectively ditches it’s keyboards and computer mice and descends on the Cecil County Dragway in Maryland for the third running of the Yellow Bullet Nationals!
Last weekend the 75-80 Dragway hosted the second of its Run What Ya Brung races for the year with a variety of heads-up and index racing classes on the program, headlined by Outlaw 10.5 with an onslaught of locals gunning for the top spot, along with Outlaw Drag Radial and Real Street for the fans delight.
Once a month, Cecil County Dragway holds one of the very best monthly drag racing series in the country. Time and time again the racers continue to show all of their potential in the classes that compete. It’s just a sample of what will be seen at next months Yellow Bullet Nationals .
Dean Marinis used an .078 starting line advantage to offset Barry Mitchell’s slight edge in on-track performance last Sunday to win the Baer Brakes X275 Shootout to lead a long list of worthy winners at the 17th annual Holcomb Spring Civil Wars at Rockingham Dragway last weekend.
