Last year’s winner of the Street Car Super Nationals: Anarchy At The Arch event is coming back in 2016 with another bullet in the chamber, but, it’s not what you would think. Kevin Fiscus took the 2015 title in his well-known Pro Modified Ford Mustang and is coming back this upcoming weekend to try and go back-to-back in Pro Modified. But Fiscus will also be behind the wheel of another well-known car in Radial vs. The World.
Of course, the initial thought would be that he will be driving the sleek Fox body Ford Mustang owned by the other half of Fiscus/Klugger Racing, Josh Klugger, but that’s not the case. Josh will be in attendance wheeling his own Racecraft, Inc.-built Mustang trying to take the win in Radial vs. The World, himself.
‘Flash’ Fiscus will be behind the wheel of the fan favorite and equally as fast, 2015 Chevrolet Corvette owned by Andrew Alepa. The sleek maroon C7 will be sporting some new updates and a man behind the wheel who has a knack for putting down big numbers. Sitting at third on the list of quickest and fastest cars in the Radial vs. The World category, Fiscus is hopping into a proven winner with tons of horsepower, thanks to an updated twin turbocharged Pro Line Racing-built HEMI powered by a new M&M Transmission and more top-secret updates on the already front-running C7.
Kevin ‘Flash’ Fiscus is known for being one of the most versatile drivers in the radial and Pro Modified world, having piloted Jose Gonzales’ El General C7 to a 231 mph blast in testing earlier this season at GALOT Motorsports Park. Fiscus will be looking to repeat as champion in Pro Modified during the SCSN event at Gateway Motorsports Park and will be looking to gain valuable data for the Alepa Racing team as they are making preparations for the bigger races upcoming in the next months, including No Mercy 7 at SGMP.
Fiscus and Alepa both spoke of the excitement to be paired up for the Anarchy At The Arch event and the possibilities of big numbers being posted on the scoreboards, especially with tuning mastermind, Steve Petty in the house. With one of the best in the business behind the laptop and behind the wheel, Alepa Racing could return to the top of the radial ladder, even with the hot and humid conditions that could be in place on a warm August weekend under the shadow of the great Gateway Arch.
