Fuelab's Prodigy In-Tank Power Modules For Racing and Street Use

Fuelab, of Litchfield, Illinois, introduces their latest in fuel technology, an in-tank offering of their popular Prodigy fuel pump. Available in universal and Mustang specific kits to boost your fuel output to the extreme levels you need without worry of tedious, frustrating installation. They have the same on-demand feature where the pump only delivers the amount of fuel the engine needs that makes the Prodigy pump work well in both street and race applications.

These in-tank fuel systems bring our popular external fuel pump technology inside the fuel tank, making installation easier than ever before. Developed for racing and capable of street use, these fuel systems can provide fuel for up to 1800HP. Power Modules, like all Prodigy Fuel Pumps, are compatible with Gasoline, E85, Methanol or Diesel Fuels. Power Modules can be coupled with Fuelab’s Electronic Fuel Pressure Regulator, bringing high flow capacity with automatic demand speed control, helping eliminate heat build up in the fuel that can lead to cavitation and vapor lock conditions.

Our Power Modules work with installation kits that start with a Universal Fabricator’s Kit. This kit allows installation of the Power Module into steel or aluminum tanks, fuel cells, and factory stock fuel tanks using a unique sealed flange system. This system enables for quicker installation, with quick and easy service access and includes an adjustable pick-up with integrated fuel strainer.

Eliminate the need for patching and strapping multiple pumps together on a hanger. No more splicing tee fittings, hoses and passing high current wires inside your tank. No more potential engine damage if a pump in a multi-pump set up fails. Each Power Module also includes auxiliary outlets for optional use of jet pumps. Jet pumps allow transfers of fuel within the fuel tank, for tough situations such as saddle tanks or internal sumps and baffles.

The Power Module system provides a cleaner installation by hiding the straining filter and pump. Installation time is quicker and more affordable, with less fuel system components that require mounting. Previously considered problematic vehicles that are hard to sump, have saddle tanks or otherwise do not have enough room or a good location available for an external pump, now have a viable, simple and reliable solution.

Additional installation kits are available for early Fifth Generation (2005-2009) Mustangs. Kits includes all required components to get your Power Module installed into the factory Mustang fuel tank. More complete kits are available that include wiring, plumbing and our 529 Series Electronic Fuel Pressure Regulator, consolidating everything you need into one “simple to install” street or strip capable power package.
