Event Preview: Dirty South No Prep Racing Series Bluegrass Weekend

Big time No Prep racing will be on full display at the Mountain Park Dragway April 21-22nd when the Dirty South No Prep Racing Series (DSNP) comes to town. The first race in the 2017 series had some serious drama along with some close racing, so the stage has been set for a huge round two event in the Bluegrass state. All the No Prep battles at the DSNP race at Mountain Park Dragway will be broadcast LIVE on SpeedVideo.com right here so you won’t have to miss any of the action!

With all of the excitement around No Prep racing, the DSNP takes it to the next level by adding points into the mix. Now all the racers have extra reasons to make it to every event and try to pick up the win no matter what. This race at Mountain Park Dragway will mark the first time the DSNP has traveled this far north, and this event is sure to attract a whole new group of racers to the series.

Mountain Park Dragway will be rocking Friday Night when the DSNP kicks off the weekend with testing, grudge racing, and two massive Cash Days races. The rowdy racers of the Big Tire and Small Tire classes will be squaring off for their chance to win $5,000 to kick off their weekend in their Cash Days battles. The action was intense at the Hub City race, so you can expect it to only grow larger for the Clay City event with this much money and bragging rights on the line.

Before the racing kicks off Saturday, fans can come out and meet the biggest names in No Prep racing, including Kye Kelley, Jerry Bird, Kayla Morton, Birdman, BoostedGT, The 55, and many others. Fans will also be able to challenge all these racers to the Practice Tree Challenge on Friday night to see if they can clock a better reaction time than their racing heroes!

The DSNP may have only one event under its belt for 2017, but the rivalries are already at a boiling point on the track. You can expect to see The 55, The Bird Boyz, and Birdman all trying to score some revenge against each other at the Bluegrass Weekend race. Kayla Morton will be looking to get a win from Kye Kelley after he defeated her during the Cash Days race at the first event, and she’s promising to not hold anything back this time.
