Your dial-in needs to be the most visible thing on your race car, if the tower can’t see it clearly, there’s a good chance it won’t get entered properly before your run. Digital dial-in boards have been around for a long time, but FuelTech’s FT Dial Board work’s directly with any FuelTech ECU and it makes changing your dial-in much easier.
Racers are starting to use FuelTech’s robust line of ECUs in bracket racing more and more, so the company decided it was time to create its own dial-in board. The FT-Dial Board’s mounting pattern works with standard dial-in board brackets, so if you already have a dial-in board you’ll be able to bolt the FT Dial Board right up to your current mounts. The 14×32-inch display uses a bright RGB LED array that is adjustable and features multiple colors. The FT Dial Board’s aluminum case is waterproof and very durable too.
Anderson Dick from FuelTech explains how the FT Dial Board works.
“The FT Dial Board connects directly to the FuelTech ECU via the CAN bus and can be changed directly in the ECU. This is a great feature since our ECUs already have a built-in delay box, so if you change your dial-in while in the car, the Dial Board will automatically update. This means you don’t need a second box to make a change to adjust your dial-in like if you had a standard dial-in board.”
FuelTech plans on adding more features to the FT Dial Board in the future to make it even easier to use. If you want to learn more about the FT Dial Board visit the FuelTech website right here.
