The Mid-West Drag Racing Series wrapped up its 2025 season this weekend with the Throwdown in T-Town at Tulsa Raceway Park. The final race of the season also included the Ronnie Hobbs Memorial Shootout, and it was full of heavy hitters. At the end of the shootout, the racer left standing with the $10,000 check and the trophy was Shawn Ellington.
The weather caused a delayed start to eliminations and ultimately moved the race to finish on Sunday. The cooler temperatures made for some exciting racing and quick elapsed times. Congratulations to the 2025 champions and event winners.
