PRI 2019: Thermo-Tec’s Modular Coolers Expand Capacity Easily

With a simple structure and an easy-to-configure design, Thermo-Tec‘s Modular Coolers are the right addition for anyone needing more protection from heat. Whether it be the intercoolers, power steering, transmission, fueling system, or oiling system that needs lower temperatures, these will expand the cooling capacity quickly and easily.

Extruded fins both inside and out make these coolers unique.

Now available in an expansion pack, the builder who discovers they need more capacity can add more of these coolers on like pieces of Lego. These can also supplement traditional coolers by integrating heat-sink fins in straight sections of tubing. They can even be added to coolers mounted within the radiator support.

These are currently available in two, four, and six-tube arrangements — all of which should offer more than enough cooling for most applications. Even with the two-tube arrangement, Thermo-Tec saw cooling improve by 30-percent and up to 40-percent with the four-tube method.

Made out of extruded aluminum with fins both inside and out, these lightweight coolers are eye-catching, too; anodized in blue and clear and cleanly packaged. Accommodating American-made -6 XRP fittings makes installation a breeze. For those of us with the need for reduced temperatures, these modular coolers from Thermo-Tec are an easy way to go and look good while doing it.
