SEMA 2011: Mechanix Wear M-PACT Protection Gloves


For someone who uses a pneumatic equipment, these gloves are a great option to provide extra protection by providing a padded palm that absorbs more shock and vibrations.

If you work inside a shop or garage you probably have slid your hands into a Mechanix Wear Gloves on more than one occasion. They offer a variety of gloves that provide different levels of protection, which is evident by their 94 pages of their 2012 catalog.

At SEMA 2011 Mechanix showed us a revamped glove that really caught our attention. The M-PACT series of gloves that are designed to provide extra protection in high impact scenarios. “For someone who uses a pneumatic equipment, these gloves are a great option to provide extra protection by providing a padded palm that absorbs more shock and vibrations.”

The Glove features numerous enhancements:

  • rubberized grip on thumb, index finger, and palm.
  • sonic welded molded rubber on knuckles and fingertips.
  • High impact PORON XRD in the palm absorbs shock and vibration.
  • Available in 5 colors.
  • Features new Impact Guard.

The glove is also available fingerless for those that want the dexterity for handling small items. The glove features a unique skeleton style exterior that gives the glove a fantastic modern look.

Another change they instituted in their line up was with their popular glove light line. The glove features an 8mm LED light that lasts for 14 hours of use. The glove now features the option to move the led light by providing the adjustability to move the light in any direction. It is great way to keep working in low light situations.
