This may be a hardcore drag racing magazine through and through, but we’re absolute suckers for vehicles that blend the nature and looks of a race car with a daily driven street cars that’s capable of peeling up the crosswalk, and Greg Belanger’s Fox body Mustang, which was recently finished up at the DMC Racing facility in Massachusetts, is most certainly that kind of car.

Belanger’s Mustang features a built 347 small block Ford under the hood, and DMC Racing fabricated and installed a pair of 76mm turbochargers to create what’s undoubtedly one of the baddest truly street legal cars we’ve seen. In addition to the twin turbo project, Belanger also had DMC fab up some inner fenders to clean up the engine compartment and anodize a number of components to give this ride a show-quality look.

The engine bay, even with the turbochargers and piping, is exceptionally organized and roomy, and we must say, the red paint scheme with the smoked headlights and dark tinted windows, combined with the black anodized wheels, makes for one intimidating look.

Belanger’s ride went across the chassis dyno upon its completion as you can see in the video linked above, and while no one was willing to share just how much power it made, the tire smoke on the rollers is a pretty good sign that you’ll want to be packing some heat before you go stirring up a race at a stoplight.
