Billy Meyer’s always-quick Texas Motorplex near Dallas once again played host to the ADRL’s season ending World Finals VIII, where a worthy crop of new champions were crowned and a few race winners capped their seasons on a high note.
Coming into Dallas, only Pro Extreme Motorcycle rider Eric McKinney had officially clinched a title, but others were merely a signed tech card or a qualifying pass away. By the completion of eliminations on Saturday, Mick Snyder(Pro Extreme), Bob Rahaim (Pro Nitrous), Alan Pittman (Extreme 10.5), and Marco Abruzzi (Top Sportsman) had all claimed their first series championships.
