How’s about a little refresher on F.A.S.T racing aka Factory Appearing Stock Tire? What a better way to get reacquainted than to check out this assortment of blistering video clips featuring a veritable who’s who of F.A.S.T racing. German website Mopar-Forum brings us the vids.

If you aren’t familiar with F.A.S.T. racing, it’s American or Canadian built production cars built from 1955 to 1974 with original sheet metal minus the slicks. Some tweaking is allowed to the motor but outward appearances must be indistinguishable from stock. F.A.S.T.’s own site has a complete set of rules for your perusal.

Dave Dudek and his dual quad, elephant-powered ’69 Road Runner is a stand out among the clips. Watch as he shatters the 2005 F.A.S.T. record in New York with runs in the 10’s and then later breaks into the 9’s. Good stuff.

Watching Dave launch this 727 Torqueflite Plymouth over and over with silky smooth hook ups on the tall factory rubber is truly an art form. As much as we all love smokey burnouts, precious time is wasting away and Dudek has none of that. Sure the bias ply’s spin some, but the car just hooks up NOW and smokes the quivering competition. Awesome.
