Well the order of the morning is rain here at SGMP. We have some showers around the area and we will keep you updated on when we will be running cars. The big news to far is Kevis Fiscus’ 4.33 @ 180 pass setting a new record for Drag Radial. Wolfe is close behind with a 4.38 and is installing some coil over shocks this morning to try and control tire shake issues he is having down track.

This car may look familliar to some of you, it's the Vader Mustang owned and driven by Eric McMillion. He was a later arrival and they are running tech in the staging lanes this morning. The single turbo car will be running X275 this weekend.

Ricky Pennington drives this clean Chevelle owned by Tommy Bills from Birmingham Alabama. He ran a 5.30 yesterda which is the best the car has been to date. They run 4-5 times a year and mostly index race so this is a little new for them and excited to go faster today.

Limited Street racer Tommy Rainer is here this weekend and has been struggling with the new car since he brought it out. He hopes for some good runs today.

I have had several requests for info and pics of Don Burton's new combo and caught up with him in tech this morning. He made the switch from running a nitrous combo in NMRA SSO to a 600 ci. BBF with twin F2-R Prochargers and will be running Radial vs the World this weekend. There no passes on it yet, just start and tested the trans brake and loaded up for the ride to SGMP.
Because of the rain they are going to run some index cars down the track to put some rubber down. After that the run order will be Holley No Boost, Billet Atomizer Racing Injectors Ultimate Street, TCI Outlaw Radial, VP Race Fuels Outlaw 275 vs 28 x 10.5, TRZ Motorsports X 275 and PTC Radial vs the World.

Jeff Cooner is here with his Pressurized Solutions Mustang. Yes he bolted on a pair of drag radials too.

Buck Walkers car is fresh out of Dan Neumann's shop for repairs and upgrades. They didn't make and killler runs yet but have no issues either.

This 75 Duster belongs to Melvin Pheifer from Biloxi Mississippi is here running 5.70 index with a naturally aspirated 439 cubic inch small block Mopar built by Ryan Johnson.

Brian McHee took top honors in the first session of Holley No Boost with a 4.67 @ 162. Eight cars made it into the 4's with Angelo Graham running a 4.87 @ 144.

John Kolivas is back for 2011 with his twin turbo setup. He took the number one position with a clean 4.52 @ 175.

Wolfe ran later in the session and laid down a 4.38 @ 179 to take the top spot from Dillard. Fiscus shut down early on his run.
Round Two Notes

Tim Johnson just picked up his car fram AC Carcraft after some winter upgrades and swap to twins. His first pass looked good but lifted the front down track and he wound up nosing the car into the wall.

David Wolfe had an oil line fail on his last run of the day. There was no damage besides the AN hose end and some down time for track cleanup.

Justin Smith is siting on top of Xtreme 275 with his 2001 434 ci Camaro on the bottle with a 4.88 @ 144 MPH.
