It is in our very blood to love cars that do wheel stands. Whether it’s the pure force behind each vehicle or the physics that make their skyward launches possible, we just can’t get enough. That’s why one of our latest YouTube video finds is so great. But this video doesn’t just showcase any car doing wheelies. No, this video features none other than one sick ‘70 Plymouth Sport Satellite doing it up right when the lights drop.

Owned by Mike Arsenault, the ’70 Sport Satellite is equipped with an all aluminum 588cui Mopar engine. The World Products block features B1 MC Heads, a 4.5 Callies crank, Crower billet steel rods and BME pistons. The car also makes use of a two-stage nitrous setup for extra power.

Aside from the engine, the car is virtually stock with a factory front end and stock brakes, although it is equipped with homemade Cal-Tracs, an anti-roll bar and roll cage. Surprisingly, the Sport Satellite pulls wheelies on just street radials.

The mid-size Plymouth does more than just pull wheelies, however. The car is also capable of impressive quarter mile times, hitting the end of the track in just 9.77 seconds on the engine alone and 9.21 seconds with nitrous.
